You know those songs that you hear, and they just make you happier?
Well here's a little list of what songs make me feel better...
500 Miles - Proclaimers : Funny song, sang by funny Scotishmen. You've probably heard it once in your life.
Waltzing Matilda - uh..whoever feels like it! : Australia's unofficial national anthem. The perfect song to sing with everyone in a bar while swashing and swing mugs of beer in your merriment.
Big Yellow Taxi - Counting Crows : I don't know why, but this song eases my mind.
Kiss Me - Sixpence None The Richer : Cute song with lyrics that I only hope to experience; this song is definitely in my top 5. It never falls to make me happier.
Juliet - LMNT : It's so much fun to sing!
Any Capoeira song : Because they're fun and upbeat
Alles Roger - Sportfreunde Stiller : I don't know why
Alles Neu - Peter Fox : It's a good song, kay?
There's definitely more, but I can't remember what else at the moment, and even if i could it'd be obnoxious to write them all here, so there you have it :)
Hope you can enjoy these songs as much as I do!
Also, forgot to add:
Quelqu'un m'a Dit - Carla Bruni

For Nick :)
Kay, so you wanted a post. I'll give you one!
As of 6:30 all I've been able to think about is sex with my boyfriend.. lol sad right? of and how much I loooove cuddling :P
But since I know you don't want to hear about it, I shall speak about other topics.
Mmmmm...rice. I love rice. Seeing as I'm latin, I've grown up with rice, so it makes sense that I love it, but it has come to my attention that Americans don't know how to make good, flavorful rice. The thing is that you have to stir the (long grained) rice in with olive oil and roasted garlic first before adding the water, and that, my friend(s), will give you a-mazing rice. Or you can do it Spanish style with all the herbs and spices, or boil it with chicken/vegetable broth, or even get some short grained stuff and throw in a splash of rice vinegar to get some Japanese sticky rice. Oh! speaking of sticky rice, I've recently bought some "purple sticky rice" from Whole Foods. Now I have to cook it and see if it's any good (but it'll definitely be pretty!).
And then there's rice flour, which can do wonderful things. Rice flour is used in a lot of Asian desserts such as rice cakes and mochi (especially good on Red Mango yogurt :P). And also rice pudding, which is delicious! I actually bought some great vegan rice pudding today :D.
Ever since the days of my childhood I loved rice; white rice and black beans was my absolute favorite food (and still is up there in my book!)
If you don't eat rice, then you're missing out in life. Really, you are.
I guess there's more to say about rice, but at the moment I don't care to write it, so I'll continue another day :)

Goodbye!
Lost my virginity on my 16th birthday. I figured, since this is such a big thing in life I should write a little something about it.
I was in my living room, with my boyfriend. My brother called from college to wish me a happy birthday and my boyfriend decided it'd be fun to tease me since I wouldn't be able to moan or anything; then it got a little heated and we ended up having sex. While I was still on the phone with my brother... This will be a funny story to retell!
At the moment I don't feel guilty or regret it or anything, really. I don't know if/when those emotions will come. Oh well, it was fun!

Blogging again? What??
Okay, first off, I AM NOT ADDICTED. It's just that I really don't want to do my homework at the moment, so this is my way of procrastinating. This week is going SO SLOW and I have so much work to do! >< And volleyballs just eating up my time. Oh, and speaking of eating, I'm officially out of lunch foods to bring, so I'm basically screwed until I go to the supermarket again (hopefully this weekend), because tomorrow I have practice and a pasta party, then game Wednesday and Thursday, Friday is practice and a sweet sixteen, and Sunday I have an early party. So Saturday's my only free day, but it's my birthday that day so I'm going out for lunch and having friends over.
In addition to all of this I have to sparknote Huckleberry Finn by Wednesday, read my AP Psych and Physics for the test Friday, and pray that my AP US work won't take long (which it will, of course!).
Oh my, look at all that complaining. Better get to work! Peace out muthafukas.

Happy now?
Okay Nick, here you go. I'll start blogging now, but by no means will it be everyday or very interesting. And you better read it or I'll punch you in the nose :).
So this weekend was fun; I hung out with the boyfriend after volleyball on Friday, the Saturday was an Indian palooza, and today, Sunday, was basically filled with procrastinating homework and making Japanese food. Oh, and earlier today there was a little conflict between my boyfriend and my ex that went something like this (I'm just gonna copy and paste it from my chat with Nick so I don't have to retype it :P)
Earlier today my ex said he was gonna kill me (he wasnt serious though, it was one of those angry "im going to kill you" things)This caused my boyfriend to snap at him saying, "if he even touches you I'll kill him." It was a mess of testosterone.
Then they finally calmed down and my friend, who's dating my ex, decided it'd be smart to say my ex could beat my current bf anyday; granted the ex is 4 years older than Nick (my bf), he;s scrawny and Nick's brolic (the ex is 19, gonna be 20 in november and Nick's 15, gonna be 16 in November)
And that is my story :)
